Set in a small town in the north of England it is the story of friends who discuss escaping their dreary seaside town and dead-end jobs whilst keeping the balls spinning at their local bingo hall. The Bingo parlour becomes a metaphor for their broken dreams as the ladies try to discover if there's more to life than waiting for your balls to drop.
